Paul
works from the DARE office providing
overall management and project
responsibility. Paul is a member of
the steering group of DSEN, a board
member of Devon Renaissance, and a
member of the management board of RE4D
(Renewable Energy 4 Devon)
and
an active member of his local North
Tawton Environmental Trust.

Jodie
became a director after working for
D.A.R.E and has been a member of the
board since 2004. Jodie has obtained
her PhD in Renewable
Energy at Exeter University’s
Cornish campus at the Camborne
School of Mines. Jodie was
instrumental in D.A.R.E’s work
with the community of Chagford and
in the creation of their own
sustainability group CASE. Jodie has
also just taken up the post of
research fellow at Plymouth
University.

Silvan
has been a member
of the board since 2001. Formerly of
Shell UK Ltd, Silvan is an engaged
member of the Branscombe community
where he was instrumental in the
recent East Devon Renewable Energy
day held there. Silvan's own home
boasts a biomass heating system.

Richard
is semi retired and is our Hydro
expert and technical advisor. Working
on a number of projects and Renewable
Energy Scoping Studies. Richard
designed and implements our Home
Energy Audit service and also carries
out desktop surveys and site visits to
assess micro-hydro potential. Richard
also chairs the Dartmoor Water Power
group. |

Steve
used to manage the Mary
Tavy Hydro Power Station,
England’s largest hydro-electric
power plant and was also Chairman of
the British Hydropower Association. Steve joined the board
in 2006 and is an expert on large
scale hydro-electric installations
as well as planning, abstraction licenses
and working within a
national park as he is also part of
the board of the Dartmoor Hill
Farmers Association.

Kirsty
began working for D.A.R.E in 2005 as an administrator and is currently
the development manager of D.A.R.E. Kirsty is responsible for events
organisation, the D.A.R.E newsletter REID and the website among her
many other duties. Kirsty works part-time and is in the office on
Tuesday’s and Thursday's.

Stuart
works freelance for DARE providing
technical advice and project delivery. |

Tom
works from the DARE office on a Monday
and spends the rest of the week
traveling to clients across Devon.
Tom's role is to support the
development of Devon’s Objective 2
Renewable Energy installer network.

Andrew
works from the DARE office as the RE4D Community Mentor and DARE's
Technical Advisor. Andrew undertakes site assessments and offers
advice and support to a wide range of clients.
